Walking tamales push tradition forward

Latin Tradition, Made to Move

Tamales carry deep cultural meaning across Latin America, where masa, fillings, wrappers, and family labor turn them into foods of celebration and care. FILLO’S reimagines that tradition as a ready-to-eat Walking Tamal, preserving familiar corn-based flavor while making it practical for modern life. The brand’s broader story began with sofrito beans and a commitment to keep Latin food traditions alive by finding fresh ways to enjoy them.

Brothers Carry Fillo’s Table Forward

Brothers Daniel and Antonio Caballero named FILLO’S for their father, nicknamed Fillo. Their childhood meals often included beans seasoned with sofrito—the vegetables, herbs, spices, and olive oil their father knew from growing up in Cuba. As adults, they wanted those family flavors to fit busy lives without becoming anonymous convenience food. FILLO’S became their way to keep beloved recipes present, portable, and ready to share.
